Superlegalization (higher autentification) of the documents

Purpose: Nigerian (as well as documents from other countries who did not sign Hague Convention including all the countries that are covered by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Abuja) documents that are to be used and submitted in the Czech Republic for various reasons (eg. marriage, application for a work permit, etc.) are required to be superlegalized.

What is it?: Superlegalization is a higher authentication of a public document which confirms that the document was issued by the relevant authority. Superlegalization is being done by verification of the signature / official stamp / official seal on the document .

Requirements: Only original public documents that are previously authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of residence can be superlegalized.

Where can it be done?: The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Abuja, (Monday and Tuesday, 2-4 p.m.). Cameroonian documents can by superlegalized at the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Douala.
