Invitation for Children's Art Competition

The theme for the Lidice 2013 exhibition is "Traditions and Heritage of my Country's People". Closing date is 15 March 2013.
The 41st International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2013, which was established in 1967 to commemorate the child victims from the Czech village of Lidice, who had been murdered by German Nazis, as well as other children who had died in wars, will be organised under the theme "Traditions and Heritage of My Country's People".
During its history, this exhibition became one of the largest and oldest exhibition of children´s art in the world. In last years the exhibition received more than 25000 entries from more than 60 countries from all over the world. The exhibition is organised by the Lidice Memorial under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Czech Commission for UNESCO and the Czech Centres.
Upon prior agreement, the drawings can be delivred to the Czech Republic via the Czech Embassy in Abuja.
