Information for Visa Applicants

The citizens of Ethiopia, Madagascar, Seychelles, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda have to submit their visa applications personally to the Czech Embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Visa section is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 to 12 a.m.
All the visa applications have to be submitted personally.
Applications for short-stay visa have to be submitted at least two weeks before the intended departure, applications for long-stay visa at least three months before the intended departure.
A visa fee is payable in Ethiopian Birrs (ETB) only! In case that the visa is refused, the fee is not REFUNDED.

Kenyan cizitens can submit a short-stay visa application to the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Nairobi which is representing the Czech Republic in Kenya.
Rwandan citizens can submit a short-stay visa application to the Embassy of Belgium in Kigali which is representing the Czech Republic in Rwanda.
Burundian citizens can submit a short-stay visa application to the Embassy of Belgium in Bujumbura which is representing the Czech Republic in Burundi.
Djiboutian citizens can submit a short-stay visa application to the Embassy of France in Djibouti which is representing the Czech Republic in Djibouti.
Comorian citizens can submit a short-stay visa application to the Embassy of France in Moroni which is representing the Czech Republic in the Comoros.
