(This article expired 01.01.2018.)

A ten member Mobile Training Team of the Czech Army conducted a training course for 18 experts from various Jordanian security services (Armed Forces, Police, Civil Defence) in the field of handling the CBRN substances.

The course took place from 11th to 31st October 2014. The Czech experts, headed by Cpt. Ondřej Havelka of the 31st Chemical and Biological Protection Batalion of the Czech Army, trained their Jordanian counterparts on laboratory analysis, sampling and CBRN explosive ordnance disposal.

This training course, which has seen already its second run, can serve as a practical example of  co-operation between the armed forces of both countries in this important field, in which the Czech Republic takes lead also within NATO.
