Group of twenty three diplomatic attachés, students of diplomatic course at Jordan Institute of Diplomacy (JID), visited Prague in 20 – 23 November 2013. The visit was organised by the NATO Contact Point Embassy in Jordan in order to provide young Jordanian diplomats with an opportunity to get acquainted with priorities of foreign, security and defence policy of the Czech Republic and practical implications of NATO membership.
Jordanian guests attended a number of briefings given by speakers from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defence and the Institute of International Relation in Prague, and also had opportunity to meet their counterparts – students of Diplomatic Academy of the MFA. Quality of the briefings, cultural programme and overall hospitality were highly appreciated by JID students and their supervisors, who expressed hope that this visit would pave the way for broader co-operation in the future.
