Mayor of the Greater Amman Municipality Mr. A. Biltaji met on the 11th November 2014 with H.E. Mr. Petr Hladík, Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Amman.

An interest of the Greater Amman Municipality in even closer cooperation with Prague.
The Mayor welcomed the Czech interest in contributing on developing urban infrastructure and confirmed the willingness of Amman’s municipality to cooperate with the Czech entities on implementing urban development plans.
He also noted the importance of establishing a closer relations with the City of Prague and the significance of developing a mutual cooperation which will benefit both cities. The Mayor stated that the system of public transportation in Prague can be set as an example for future Amman.
According to the Mayor Biltaji; Amman is planning to execute 13 infrastructural investment projects worth 332 million JOD. ( approx. 10.5 billion CZK).
