On 9 May 2012 the Embassy of the Czech Republic, in cooperation with the Embassy of Slovakia and together with other member states of the European Union, Delegation of the European Union in Turkey , opened a stand in Gençlik Parki (Part of the Youth) in Ankara. The Staff of the Embassy presented the Czech Republic to the Turkish public by a film about the Czech Republic, information brochures and those who made it to the stand were also offered delicious potato pancakes prepared by the staff. Thanks to the flexibility of Yüce Auto, importer of the Skoda cars to Turkey, also a Skoda Superb was exhibited next to the stand. During the programme, Minister for EU Affairs Mr. Egemen Bagiş visited the Czech and Slovak stand.
