Meeting of Acting Political Directors of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Visegrád Group Countries with their Turkish Counterpart

Acting Director of the Security and Multilateral Section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Mr. Václav Bálek, together with his colleagues from the MFA of Hungary, Poland and Slovakia took part in a discussion with the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey in Ankara on May 27, 2014. The topics of the Accession of Turkey to the EU, situation in Ukraine,  power security, the Balkans, development  in the Middle East and North Africa and also matters concerning enlarging of NATO were discussed during the meetings. The Turkish delegation was lead by H.E. Mr Murat Selim Esenli, Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Afairs.  The representatives of the stated countries and Turkey also took part in a debate on Syria and Ukraine organised by SETA – „Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research“.
