The short-term Schengen visa policy and procedures are regulated by the Regulation (EC) No 810/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 July 2009 establishing a Community Code on Visas (Visa Code). The long-term visa procedure is regulated by the Act No. 326/1999 on the Residence of Aliens in the Territory of the Czech Republic.
