On 10 September 2013, with cooperation of the Czech-Azerbaijani Trade Chamber, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Baku and the Czech Chamber of Commerce, an official Networking Breakfast was organized for the representatives of Czech and Azerbaijani business communities at Hilton Baku Hotel.
The main objective of this event was to bring together the representatives of the Czech and Azerbaijani business entities from various sectors such as oil and gas, construction, engineering, manufacturing, textile, retail, banking, finance, insurance and others and to create a new professional networking platform for both parties to introduce themselves and discuss future cooperation opportunities.
The event was organized on the sideline of the 1st European-Azerbaijani Investment Conference implemented in the framework of the East Alliance, a project funded by the European Union.
Participating Czech companies: Bakes Law firm, the Czech Export Bank, the EGAP Insurance company, Laufen company CZ, Mavel a.s., the PSJ construction company, the Raiffeisen Bank CZ, Skoda Vagonka, VEBA textile factory and Wikov Industry.
Participating Azerbaijani companies: the Baker Tilly Azerbaijan, AZMECO - Azerbaijan Methanol Company, Azerenerji OJSC, Bank of Baku, Mugan Bank, Nikoil Bank, Ata Insurance, Modern Group company, the State Agency on Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources, Neoclass LTD, Azersu OJSC, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, Azeryod LLC, Baku Metropolitan and Baku Textile Factory.
