The Commercial and Economic Section of the Czech Embassy in Beijing promotes in general economic and trade relations between both countries, informs about the current investment possibilities in the Czech Republic and provides contact details of Czech companies. Its main role is to coordinate activities of governmental agencies (CzechInvest, CzechTrade and CzechTourism) in the People´s Republic of China and strengthen the existing ties between the Czech and Chinese institutions and authorities dealing with economic, commercial and business-related agenda.

The Commercial and Economic Section of the Czech Embassy in Beijing promotes economic interests of the Czech Republic in the People´s Republic of China mainly by activities in the following fields:

• support to Czech exporters and Chinese importers interested in bringing Czech products to Chinese market
• support to Chinese investors interested in investment opportunities in the Czech Republic
• support of the cooperation between Czech and Chinese enterprises and facilitation of know-how and technology exchange
