Czech music band Čechomor having concerts in Beijing

The Czech Embassy organized two concerts of Czech famous music band Čechomor in Beijing. Its music is rooted in Moravian village music, their repertoire reflects the passion and anguish of a region moulded by Ottoman raids and Napoleonic battles. As the starting band there will be Beijing Municipal Opera Theatre Electronic Band. The first concert takes place on 19 May 2010 at 9 pm at Yu Gong Yi Shan club. The second concert will be held the next day on 20 May 2010 at 6pm on the parking lot in front of the North Pass of Juyongguan Great Wall in cooperation with Changping District .
