The 65th Anniversary of mutual Czech-China relations launched

During the press conference at the Czech Embassy in Beijing on March 19, 2014 was officially launched the celebrations of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the mutual Czech-Chinese diplomatic relations.During the press conference was also officially presented the logo of the 65th anniversary.

The opening speech was held by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic Mr. L. Secka and deputy minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Mr. J. Havlicek. China was at today´s festivities represented by Mr. XIE YUAN, Vice President of the People of China Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and also by many distinguished members of the Chinese press corp.

As guest of honour was also present a mayor of city distric Prague 1.

During the press conference, both Mr. Ambassador Secka and the deputy minister Havlicek stressed the high quality foundation of the mutual Czech-chinese diplomatic and economic relations. Vice president Xie Yuan expressed his confirmation on the future deepening of the bilateral diplomatic, economic and cultural relations.

As Mr. Ambassador said, the Czech Republic will celebrate anniversary with many events throughout of the year, bringing to China its top artists and showcasing the best that Czech economy can offer. Already on March 20 begins two day conference on bilateral economic, trade and investment issues which aims to match Czech and Chinese partners across many fields. Chinese giants Huawei and Changhong as well as successful Czech companies Home Credit, Skoda, Lasvit and Preciosa will take part in the conference.

It was palpable in the atmosphere of today´s meeting that both Czech Republic and China share many common interests and many common goals. Both sides agreed that potential of bilateral relations is sky high.
