Ambassador visits Tripoli

On May 8, 2014, the Ambassador Cumba visited Tripoli in order to meet the religious leaders of the different confessional communities in the northern metropolis.

The Ambassador was interested, among others, in being briefed on the current security situation in the city. He also informed partners about the humanitarian activities the Czech Republic is realising in Lebanon (incl. Tripoli) that is severly hit by the impact of the Syrian crises, particulary by the presence of over a million refugies.
The Ambassador´s visit was noticed by local medias, incl. the National News Agency NNA.
