Czech delegation visits South Lebanon

On June 20, 2012 a Czech delegation consisting of H.E. Ambassador Pavel Fischer, Director General of Security and Mulilateral Section and Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Svatopluk Cumba, Czech Ambassador to Lebanon and Mr. Jiri Ellinger, Director of Middle East Department of the MFA, visited Sector East of the area controled by UNIFIL in southern Lebanon. The delegation met the Commander of SECEAST, Brig. Gen. Julio Herrero and visited the Blue Line along the border with Izrael (UN positions near the Shebaa farms and Ghajar village).
