On December 18, 2011 died Vaclav Havel, an icon of the opposition against totalitarianism, leading figure of the „Velvet Revolution" in 1989 and, after the fall of the communist regime in the Czechoslovakia the President of Republic. His personality, name and works were decisive for the Czech Republic's return into the community of free and democratic countries. May he rest in peace.
