Handover ceremony of the Czech humanitarian assistance in Tripoli

On the occasion of the finalization of a small local project funded by the Czech Republic, on 29th of November a public ceremony took place in Tripoli. The project aimed at assisting the Lebanese educational system with the necessity of accommodating children of hundreds of thousands Syrian refugees. The Czech Republic is well aware of the problem and, in line with the approach of the Lebanese Government considers the uninterrupted education provided to the children of the refugees as one of the priorities.
The project, prepared by the Czech Embassy in Beirut in cooperation with the “Forum Economic Solidarity”, concentrated at the reconstruction / rehabilitation of the public school “Mey for Girls”. It included reconstruction of toilets, building a wall dividing two parts of the school including the outside pitch and reconstruction of the outside area of the school.
