Between February 29 and March 2, 2012, H.E. General Michel Sleiman payed a State Visit to the Czech Republic. The President was accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigrants H.E. Adnan Mansour, Minister of Economy and Trade H.E. Nicolas Nahas, Minister of Interior and Municipalities H.E. Marwan Charbel, State Minister H.E. Marwan Kheireddine and Director General of the State Security General Abbas Ibrahim, among others.

On the margin of the visit, the Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic organized a business forum for Lebanese and Czech entrepreneurs.
