Women and children from the Czech Embassy took part in the charity run

On 26th of May, under the auspices of Lebanese first lady Mrs. Wafaa Sleiman the Beirut Marathon Association organized a charity run for women The 10KM Women’s Challenge.
Appart of the main 10 km category, there were also shorter races: 5 KM Fun Run and 1 KM Run with Mom. Women and children from the Czech Embassy and many compatriots took part in the event as a part of the Diplomatic Spouses Association of Lebanon group (the Czech team was the most numerous).
All the profit from the event, in which more than 5 thousand women participated has been used for charity activities connected with women´s and childrens´ rights.
