(This article expired 30.09.2020.)

Date: 15 September 2014 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Venue: Permanent Representation to the European Union, Rue Caroly 15, 1050 Brussels

On Monday 15th September 2014 the seminar and presentation of Czech medical products in connection with the spread of the Ebola virus called "OPTIMAL SOLUTION FOR A BIOLOGICAL PROTECTION" took place at the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to The EU in Brussels.

The seminar included practical presentations of the products of EGO Zlín, Ltd. - the manufacturer of a range of special medical products and utilities, suitable for combating the spread of the Ebola virus, for example a mobile device intended for primary transport of patients suspected of being infected with highly dangerous infections, and also the entire system of protection devices.

The seminar was conducted in Brussels, the headquarters of many organizations whose involvement in the fight against Ebola virus is inherent in the current situation. The event was significant for the manufacturer EGO Zlín and also for the image and good name of the Czech Republic, as it offers both the opportunity to meet the specific Czech bilateral humanitarian assistance, and also the opportunity of involvement in multilateral humanitarian actions through the UN, the EU and others.

The presentation took place in parallel with the Coordination High-level Meeting on Ebola organized by the European Commission. Many institutions, particularly the World Health Organization, Doctors without Borders covered both events.
