The Ambassador expressed his thanks for the support of the film festival One World Romania (16 – 21 March 2011), attended by almost 9 000 spectators,  informed the Minister of the forthcoming retrospective of Oscar-winning director Jiří Menzel´s films (16 – 19 May 2011) and other events to come.

The Minister highly appreciated activities of the Czech Centre in Bucharest as one of the best working cultural institutions in Romania and expressed his interest in promoting cooperation between the two countries, especially in cinematography.
