Ambassador opens event to mark International Roma Day

On 9 April 2013, Embassy of the Czech Republic together with the Czech Centre Bucharest organized a concert t to mark the International Roma Day. The opening speech was given by Ambassador Jiří Šitler.
Roma pianist Cătălin Răducanu, 1st year- student at the National University of Music, played compositions by G. Enescu, J.S.Bach, F. Chopin, A. Dvořák and M. Ravel. At the conclusion of the evening, he played the jazz interpretation of Roma anthem.
