Czech Deputy Minister of the Interior visits Romania

On 20 – 22 June 2011 the Deputy Minister of the Interior of the Czech Republic Viktor Čech and delegation visited Bucharest.

The Czech representative met with the State Secretary of the Minister of Administration and Interior Ioan Dascalu and head of the Schengen Department of the ministry Marian Tutilescu. The Romanian partners thanked for the Czech Republic’s support of Romania’s accession to the Schengen area without raising additional political requirements. The delegations further discussed police cooperation between the two countries and problems connected with the employment of Romanian workers in the Czech Republic. The Deputy Minister also visited the new terminal facilities at the Henri Coanda International Airport in Bucharest, MAI Operational Centre and the Centre for international police cooperation.
