On 23 July 2013, consultations with Romania´s Ministry for European Funds were held in the presence of Ambassador Jiří Šitler. The Czech delegation was headed by Daniela Grabmüllerová, Director of the European affairs department. The Romanian delegation was led by State Secretary Alin Sorin Mitrica, who appreciated the possibility to share experience with the Czech side.  The talks were focused on drawing EU funds in the course of the next EU financial framework (2014 – 2020), experience of the 2007 – 2013 financial framework, cohesion funds and public procurement.  Later in the day, networking of the delegates and Czech and Romanian companies continued at a cocktail in the garden of the Ambassador´s  residence.

On 24 July 2013, the delegation was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania  by European section Director General Ioana Bivolaru.
