The international conference was organized by the President of the Sibiu County Council Ioan Cindrea. Minister Delegate for Small and Medium Enterprises, Business Environment and Tourism Florin Jianu, State Secretary from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania Radu Podgorean, Prefect of Sibiu County Ovidiu-Ioan Sitterli, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Gheorghe Aldea and Executive Director of the same Chamber Eugen Iordanescu actively participated in the event, which was attended by several representatives of Embassies and other organizations and institutions.  As part of the programme participants visited the Boromir factory, industrial zone and, on 6 June 2014, attended the theatre performance of Faust directed by Silviu Purcarete. On 6-15 June 2014, Sibiu hosted the 3rd biggest International Theatre Festival in Europe, presided by Constantin Chiriac.
