Mikuláš (Saint Nicolas Day) celebration in Bucharest

On 7th December 2013, Ambassador Jiří Šitler participated in the traditional feast of Saint Nicolas, celebrated by Czechs and Slovaks in Romania at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bucharest.
Mikuláš (St Nicolas), accompanied by the devil and the angel, brought gifts to children and encouraged them to sing Christmas carols. The grown-ups used the occasion to meet with the Ambassador, chat with old friends as well as to make acquaintance with the newcomers.
