The sixth One World Romania film festival opens in Bucharest

On 11 March 2013, the sixth human rights documentary film festival One World Romania, inspired by the Prague One World festival, opened in Bucharest.

At the opening ceremony the Ambassador Jiří Šitler honoured the memory of Czech President Václav Havel who was the long-time patron of this festival.

The film festival takes place until March 17 and is attended by 27 foreign guests. A total of 60 films in their original versions with Romanian and English subtitles will be presented during 100 screenings in six Bucharest cinemas. Dozens of accompanying events include workshops, seminars and discussions with the film makers.  Over 10 000 spectators are expected to attend One World Romania.
