Appointment is needed

Appointment for short/long term visa and long term residence is possible by VISAPOINT only.

In Visapoint you have to write your complete name and surname as it is written in your passport!

Appointment is possible to make for 30 days in advance, with each day/hour a new term will appear. Please bring with you the confirmation number.

To cancel your reservation in VISAPOINT you have to write an e-mail to consulate_cairo@mzv.cz with your name, surname, date of birth, passport number and reference number.

Groups over 20 can register by phone: +20 - 2 3333 9700 between 2:00 -3:00 pm, or by e-mail: consulate_cairo@mzv.cz. This e-mail must contain name of travel agency, contact person, purpose of group´s  travel, itinerary and the list of participants including their name, surname, date of birth and  passport number.

 

Collecting passport after 15 days from lodging the application:

From Sunday till Thursday between 2.00 - 3.00 pm.

Exceptionally a passport can be collected by an authorized person - with no responsibility for eventual loss/damage on the Embassy side.

 

For your information:

In May 1, 2012, the Representative Office of the Czech Republic in Ramallah ceased accepting visa applications of the Palestinians from the West Bank and the Gaza strip.

The Palestinian applicants from the West Bank shall lodge their visa applications at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Amman and the Palestinian applicants from the Gaza strip shall lodge their visa applications at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Cairo.

 

Applicants from Yemen, Sudan and Eritrea shall lodge their visa applications at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Cairo via previous registration in VISAPOINT.
