Bishop Václav Malý in Chicago

On October 25-27 2013 Bishop Václav Malý, who was appointed by the Czech Bishops Conference to care for expats living abroad, visited Chicago. Bishop Malý is a prominent figure in the Czech political scene.
Monsignor Václav Malý visited the Czech Mission in Brookfield where on October 26 and 27, 2013 he led Mass followed by a discussion with the Czech community with the participation of Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Unites States Petr Ganalovič on October 26 and the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Chicago, Dana Huňátová on October 27.
Monsignor Václav Malý was an esteemed guest at the reception held by the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Chicago held on October 26, 2013 which honored the 95th Anniversary of the Czechoslovakian Independence.
