New Yorkers' courage and heroism was celebrated by the world premiere of "Strings for New York" at the free concert at the Bohemian National Hall on Wednesday, February 20, 2013.

Czech composer and violinist Jaroslav Sveceny gave the first performance of his work and presented the autographed manuscript to a representative from the Mayor's office.
