Ambasador Petr Gandalovič and Consul General Martin Dvořák met on June 5 at the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in New York with Mr. Ladislav (Leonard) Jindra /92/ to recognize his French legion of Honor award given to him from the people of France for his service as a Czech-American infantryman liberating them during the Allied invasion of Europe in 1944.
