Symposium „F(o)unding Culture“ at the Bohemian National Hall in NYC

One-day symposium titled „F(o)unding Culture“ and organised by the Czech Center NYC in conjunction with Aspen Institute Prague, Consulate General of the Czech Republic in NYC, Austrian Cultural Forum, Polish Cultural Institute and the Vaclav Havel Library Foundation took place on Wednesday May 22nd at the Bohemian National Hall. Main topic of the event was the issue of supporting art, both fi nancially and organizationally, using good examples from the Central Europe and the United States.

In two discussion panels, the artists, government representatives, businessmen, art managers and philanthropists discussed the role and importance of art in public diplomacy and business at present and in the future. The event was attended by more than 60 people.
