The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in NY together with European Trading Company from the town of Brown Deer (Wisconsin) jointly organized a special event titled “Czech Christmas Market” on November 16, 2013 at the Bohemian National Hall in the Upper East Side.
Visitors to this premiere Czech Christmas market had a chance to see and buy traditional beautiful hand blown Czech Christmas glass ornaments manufactured by Czech companies ORNEX s.r.o. Jablonec, HAN s.r.o. Jicin and Vanocni ozdoby DUV Dvur Kralove and imported by European Trading Co. Their Golden Bell CollectionTM offers the largest selection of Czech ornaments in the United States.
The presentation was suitably complemented by the video showcasing the process of crafting the ornaments, by reproduction of traditional Czech Christmas carols as well as mulled wine.
