Czech, Hungarian and Polish ICT Innovation Seminar held at the BNH in New York City

Consulate General of the Czech Republic in New York had organized together with the New York office of CzechInvest and in cooperation with the Czech ICT Alliance and the Consul General of Poland and Hungary the seminar "Czech, Polish and Hungarian ICT Innovation".
 

The seminar which took a place on Wednesday May 11, 2016 in the Bohemian National Hall in New York, was a part of World Trade Week NYC 2016; a traditional event for the promotion of international trade that is announced annually by the President of the United States. The seminar was opened by Consul General Martin Dvorak, who among other things said: "Central European area is very progressive in the field of IT and innovation and has a great potential. Therefore, I am pleased that we can introduce some of our Czech companies to the US audience. I am also very pleased that we can provide an attractive space of the Bohemian National Hall for the presentation of Czech companies. "

During the seminar, the participants were introduced to innovative companies as well as the potential of three Central European countries in the field of information technology. The general information about the Czech ICT environment was presented to participants by Matouš Kostlivý from the Prague headquarters of CzechInvest. The seminar provided an opportunity to Czech presenting companies (Agent Balance, Clever Monitor and Sourcy) to meet with several potential partners who are interested in cooperation and trade with the Czech Republic, among whom were representatives of investors ("Venture Capitalists" or "Angels" ) as well as representatives of the city of New York and local chambers of commerce.
