The Czech Green Building Council

Rountable discussion with four representatives of the Czech Green Building Council (CZGBC) which was jointly organized by the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in New York, Hodgson Russ LLP and NYC office of CzechInvest/Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade took place on Tuesday, October 15th 2013 at the premises of historic Bohemian National Hall.

The lively and well attended discussion was opened by the Consul General, Mr. Martin Dvorak and lasted over the planned two hours and covered issues such as the use of new clean technologies for green buildings in the U.S. and Europe, financing of environmentally friendly projects on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean (including government incentives and grants) as well as rules and regulations that the architects and construction companies have to obey.

Potential cooperation on new clean technology projects in the U.S. or Europe, as well as on third markets around the world was also discussed.
