"The 2012 Czech IT Conference – Partnering in Innovation"

The Czech Republic is the second home in Europe for many US businesses. Increasingly, the US is the second home of a growing number of Czech IT companies. The common bond is a fundamental sense of innovation and partnership.
Therefore on Wednesday April 18, 2012 the Czech IT Conference with fittingly chosen motto “Partnering in Innovation” took place at the beautiful Bohemian National Hall, organized jointly by the Consulate General of the Czech Republic, the CzechInvest New York office and the local New York company BK Advisory Group. This event brought together the best of Czech IT sector – the new, upcoming wave of Czech IT players growing in the US and further insights into the fertile business climate that so many companies enjoy in the Czech Republic.
The business mission from the Czech Republic was put together by the Czech ICT Alliance and consisted of the following Czech companies:

- CherryStaff (Monitoring system)
- Invea-Tech (Network monitoring & security systems)
- INSTAR ITS Ostrava (Energy management systems)

- OK System (Software solutions, Expert consultations)
- TakePlace (Event management)
The organizers partnered with Central European Business Association (CEBA) which gave the event the important Central-European dimension.
One of the highlights of the conference was the presentation of Mr. Peter Cresse, Vice-President of Javlin Data Solutions, the American daughter of Czech IT company Javlin. His message – the success story of the Czech company in the competitive American IT market – resonated with the audience well into the subsequent networking reception which was prepared by Czech restaurant Hospoda.
