Long term visa (stay over 90 days)

  • Long term visa (type D) – allows its holder to stay in the territory of the Member States up to 90 days within 180 days during the visa validity period.
  • You are required to submit your visa application in person. Upon submitting your visa application, an interview will take place and you may be asked to explain the reasons why you apply.
  • There is no legal entitlement to a visa. Decision to refuse visa is final and cannot be appealed.
