Apart from Czech citizens and Czech companies
the following foreigners and foreign companies can acquire the real estate in the Czech Republic:
1) foreigner with a green card issued by the Czech Foreigner Police, or
2) foreign company with the Czech business licence (not applicable for purchasing agricultural or forest land), or
3) foreigner whose spouse, parent or grandparent is Czech citizen or permanent resident of the Czech Republic (not applicable for other property than the one acquired from them), or
4) foreigner whose spouse is Czech citizen or permanent resident of the Czech Republic (applicable only if the real estate will be shared by the couple), or
5) inheritor of the real estate, or
6) owner of some real estate property in the Czech Republic if such property will be exchanged for another one (not applicable if a value of the new property is higher than a value of the property already owned; value is set by arbitrator), or
7) partial owner of some real estate property in the Czech Republic having purchasing right for other or remaining part of the same property (not applicable for another than already partially owned property), or
8) owner of the land in the Czech Republic if intending to obtain the building on the same land, or
9) if it will be used for diplomatic purpose (applicable only in case of reciprocity), or
10) in other exceptional cases, if the law applicable in the Czech Republic allows it.
