Meeting with the representatives of the company Rockwool

On Monday 10 March 2014 Ambassador Jiří Brodský visited the headquarters of the company Rockwool which is the world's biggest producer of thermal, acoustic and fire resistant insulation materials.

The ambassador had a meeting with Eelco van Heel, the president and general manager of Rockwool Group, and with Frank Nielsen, the director for the European division, in the town of Hedehusene where the company has its research and development base.

The main subject of their discussion was the company´s activities in the Czech Republic where Rockwool has had production plants in Bohumín in the north of Moravia since 1998.

Currently the company continues to expand in the Czech Republic. The volume of foreign investments makes around 600 mil. Kč. A significant increase in employment in the region is also expected.
