Celebration of „Year of Czech Music“ in Denmark

The Czech Embassy in Copenhagen cordially invites you to the concert which we organize in cooperation with Copenhagen Festival Ensemble on the occasion of "the Year of Czech Music". The chamber music concert by five of the most significant Czech composers will take place on Sunday 28 September 2014 at 5 p.m. at Odd Fellow Palæet in Copenhagen.
At the invitation of Copenhagen Festival Ensemble, two Czech musicians, violist Kristina Fialová and cellist Petr Nouzovský, will perform during the evening as part of the ensemble.

The Year of Czech Music 2014 is a celebration of important music anniversaries of more than 60 Czech composers, musicians and ensembles which the Czech Republic is commemorating at home as well as abroad.
Conductor Sir Simon Rattle and mezzo-soprano Magdalena Kožená, took the artistic patronage of the project. The honorary president is Jiří Bělohlávek, Chief conductor of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. Miloš Zeman, president of the Czech Republic, gave political auspices.
