Concert with two prominent Czech musicians in Denmark.
Concerts:
18 November 2012 at 4 p.m. in Vestjysk Gymnasium in Tarm
23 November 2012 at 7 p.m. in Opstandelseskirken in Albertslund, free entrance
Works by A. Dvořák, J. Suk, B. Martinů and L. Janáček were played.
Michaela Fukačová
Michaela Fukačová is a Czech cellist, living in Denmark. She started playing the piano at the age of five. At fourteen, she took up the cello, winning the Beethoven Cello Competition only two years later. Among her many top international prizes was the prestigious 1986 Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow.
Michaela has performed throughout Europe, the United States of America, Canada and Japan. She has played numerous concerts with orchestras such as Czech Philharmonic, the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, the NHK Japan, the Orquestra Sinfónica de Radiotelevision Espanola, the BBC Scottish Orchestra, the English Symphony Orchestra, and the Danish Radio Orchestra, among others.
There was a Masterclass led by Michaela Fukačová 24 and 25 November 2012 in Opstandelseskirken.
