The film "Little Girl Blue" at the Embassy

March 25, 2008 the traditional evenings of Czech film continued with the screening of “Little Girl Blue" by Alice Nellis.

March 25, 2008 the traditional evenings of Czech film continued with the screening of Little Girl Blue (Tajnosti) from 2007 directed by Alice Nellis. At the Czech Lion Awards in 2007 the film won the price for best picture of the year, for best camera and the film critic' s price.

The film was viewed by an audience consisting of Czech students, Czechs living in Denmark and their friends and families.

Once again Alice Nellis, one of the directors from a new generation of film makers, made a film about a woman from a woman's perspective and singer and musician Iva Bittová returned to acting in the main part after many years away from the silver screen. In other parts the audience had the opportunity to see Karel Roden, Ivan Franěk, Miroslav Krobot, Anna Šišková and Martha Issová.

The camera man, who received the Czech Lion is Ramunas Greičius, Alice Nellis, the director, was also responsible for the manuscript and the film was produced by Jan Svěrák.
