Screening of the Czech movie “Of Parents and Children“ at the Embassy

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Copenhagen continues the tradition of showing Czech films. On 7 April 2009 we introduced the film “Of Parents and Children“ directed by Vladimír Michálek.
The film (2008) was inspired by the novel of the same name by leading contemporary writer Emil Hakl. We are pleased to inform about newly released novel “Of Kids and parents“ by Emil Hakl, translated by Marek Tomin and published by Twisted Spoon Press in 2008. For more information: http://www.pluh.org. The writer E. Hakl with Jiří Křižan and director Michálek are authors of the screenplay. Vladimír Michálek is one of the most awarded Czech filmmakers of his generation.
