Concert by three soloists with Jaroslav Svěcený

On Thursday 2 December 2010 the Embassy of the Czech Republic was co-organizing a concert of three excellent soloists – Czech violinist Jaroslav Svěcený, Luxembourg pianist Francesco Tristano and Danish violinist Phillippe Benjamin Skow.

The concert took place at Odd Fellow Palæet in the center of Copenhagen on the occasion of the 700th Anniversary of the wedding between John of Luxembourg and Elizabeth of Premyslides. The Luxembourg Ambassador Pierre-Louis Lorenz inaugurated the concert, as the Embassy of Luxembourg was the main organiser of the event. Around 180 guests (diplomats, public and invitees of both Embassies) were delighted by the concert including both classical works and works composed by Jaroslav Svěcený and Francesco Tristano. During the break Czech beer and Luxembourg champagne was offered.
