On this occasion, together with the celebration of the United Nations’ Day, a gala evening was held on 29 October 2010 at the Copenhagen City Hall.

The president of K.U.K.S., Mrs. Eleonor J. Bomholt, gave a welcome speech, whereupon the Dean Ambassador of Nicaragua to Denmark, Mr. Ricardo José Alvarado Noguera continued. Afterwards the guests enjoyed a rich cultural program and the tasting of traditional meals from the participating countries. The Czech Republic contributed to the cultural program by a pantomime performance Weightlifter by the Czech mime artist Miroslav Horáček.
