Special seminar-interview with the multi-award-winning writer and illustrator Renáta Fučíková took place in Dublin

The Department of Russian and Slavonic Studies, Trinity College Dublin organized a successful special seminar-interview with the multi-award-winning writer and illustrator Renáta Fučíková. 

 
 

Renáta Fučíková, originally an artist and illustrator, she has gradually devoted more time to writing books. She has won many awards including several Golden Ribbons as well as first prize at the Biennial of Illustration in Tehran in 1997. She was nominated for the prestigious Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2011. She was born in Prague on 3 January and lives alternately in Prague and in a cottage in South Bohemia.

The seminar was supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
