Commemoration of Czechoslovak R.A.F. soldiers in Nijmegen

On 17 April 2014 Ambassadors of the Czech Republic and Slovakia in the Netherlands, H.E. Mr. Jaroslav Horák and H.E. Mr. Jaroslav Chlebo, together with the Mayor of Nijmegen Mr. Hubert Bruls, honoured the memory of six Czechoslovak R.A.F. soldiers who died after their aircraft Wellington was shot down on 17th April 1941 near the town of Weert in the province of Limburg. At Jonkerbos War Cemetery in Nijmegen the following Czechoslovak soldiers are buried: Mr. Václav Košulič, Mr. František Kráčmer, Mr. Vladimír Kubíček, Mr. Rudolf Lifčic, Mr. František Sixta and Mr. Václav Štětka.
