Commemoration of Czechoslovak R.A.F. soldiers in Petten, Nord Holland

On 14 October 2013 Ambassadors of the Czech Republic and Slovakia in the Netherlands, H.E. Mr. Jaroslav Horák and H.E. Mr. Jaroslav Chlebo, honoured the memory of six Czechoslovak R.A.F. soldiers who crashed with their KX-B Vickers Wellington bomber of 311th Czechoslovak squadron „Biscay“ in the North Sea near the village of Zijpe-Petten, province of Nord Holland. The memorial in honour of the Czechoslovak soldiers was revealed at ceremony in 2012.
