Minister Kuba met with the Deputy Prime Minister for Economy, the Minister of Industry and Trade, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, the Deputy Minister of National Defense; the Czech delegation also met with the Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. During the discussions, perspective areas of cooperation like mining, energy sector, transport infrastructure and means, engineering, environmental technology, defense industry etc were considered. About 150 representatives of Vietnamese companies and institutions met with their partners from 20 Czech companies during a Business Forum held as part of the visit's program. Within the Forum, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Czech Technology Agency and the State Agency for Technology and Innovation of Vietnam was also signed.
