Visit of the Minister Karel Schwarzenberg

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Mr. Karel Schwarzenberg payed an official visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam from 21 – 25 March 2012. During his visit he met with Vietnamese leaders including the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Pham Binh Minh and Prime Minister Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung.

He met also with the Secretary of the Municipal´s Party Committee and Chairman of the Haiphong People´s Council Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh and visited the Vietnam-Czech Friendship Hospital, the recipient of the Czech development assistant. First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs had also opportunity to meet representatives of Czech Community and Vietnam-Czech Friendship Organization.

The Czech delegation has been accompanied by the business mission. On 22 March 2012 the Business Forum took place and MoU´s of between the Electrotechnical Testing Institute and its partners in the presence of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Karel Schwarzenberg. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Tomáš Dub accompanied by the business mission had meeting with the partners in the Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment and Ministry of Industry and Trade on 23 March 2012.
